Well Halloween is over once again and the Creatures of the Night are slowly returning to whatever shadowy places they linger in. But I still wanted to share with you all what I had chosen as Halloween outfit for this year

Since i missed out on Halloween 2008, and hold good memories of Halloween 2007, I was sure to try my best at enjoying this years event(s). But for days I had been pondering on what to actually wear. Raul helped me get started by suggesting I go as Red Riding Hood (partially because I think he knows how much a sucker I am for everything that’s red and / or purple). I liked that idea, but most outfits I encountered were female (and mostly “French Maid” style outfits… a style the grid is overdosed in if you ask me).

At some point during the search I received a product update from Wasabi Pills, they had a new hair out, and as a true fan of their more fantasy hairstyles I decided to check their store out while I was already hopping around the grid. Once there I noticed another recently added product that I had forgotten about : Werewolf hair! (I really deserve to be brutally tortured for not remembering that one) It was made to match a skin from Fallen Gods Inc., and at that point all pieces of the puzzle started falling in to place.

What if I wouldn’t go as Red Riding Hood, but as Red Werewolf Riding Hood? Think about it: in her his youth, Riding Hood got bitten on his way to grandmother and has to spend every full moon of the rest of his life as a werewolf! A twist ideal for a more manly Halloween outfit if you ask me!

So I TPd to Fallen Gods Inc., chose two skin types in the red colored version (these skin come in 4 color options which each have 12 styles) and decided to go all the way by purchasing the matching ears and claws by Rebel -X-. I had some new red pants from :SEY with furry bits which worked perfectly with this type of creature, went to buy the red version of the Kurotsubaki cloak (already owning the black version I figured the red version would work great) and finished the total look with a pair of boots from Lapointe and cuffs from Retox.

* Cuffs: Wrapped Cuffs in Red from Retox (hunt prize)
* Basket: Doku Ringo basket from Kurotsubaki (it’s part from the cape set and is included in both Red and Black versions, this basket is from the black version, called Witch Hood, because the one from the red version was simply too cute)
