It’s always sad when something you’ve known so long, been part of for more then half of (your current) Second Life®, stops to exist.
Kindred Isle -a Vampire Haven- and it’s vampire / goth / industrial themed club DropOut is no more.

I was a staff member for almost a year there, one of those who were hired at “old DropOut” even, before Lamia Essex -the owner- got her own sim.
Every Friday night I was the one kicking off the weekend with DJ Malherbe.
My last host shift there was the first weekend of February 2008, since I had started a RL job which I knew would be too demanding to keep hosting at DropOut.
When Lamia got the word out she would stop with the sim and everything in it I did my best to rush over there to snap a couple pictures.
